Windemere Hotel, London The good mood dampened considerably when we hit our hotel room at the Windemere Hotel in Westminster. For over $300 US per night we got a room barely larger than the two double beds it contained. But, frankly, I think what really ticked Mike off was the fact it was in the basement. Of course, being a woman, I felt he was judinging me, not the room and it was pretty much all downhill from there.
